Wild About Reading

Fifth graders in Mrs. Douglas’ class at Selma Elementary enjoyed reading centers.

After reading, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, it was time to divide into groups. One group had comprehension questions, one had idioms, computers, listening center and word study group.

Everyone enjoyed working with classmates and participating in class. Mrs. Humphries and Mrs. Morris helped groups of students too.

Literacy first is a wonderful reading program to enhance the skills needed.
