Gabriel "The Hitman" Sammartino a local Wake Forest boy. Raced in the ABA East Coast Nationals hosted by Capital City BMX at Lyons Park this past weekend. Gabriel competed in the 8 year old novice class against 6 other races and won 1st place. Gabe is one win away from becoming an intermediate rider. He and several other riders from Capital City BMX will be traveling to Orlando Florida to compete in the Disney Cup Nationals October 31. Capital City BMX is a non profit organization that operates the race track at Lyons Park.
