The Junior Hurricanes Midget Red team representing the Raleigh Youth Hockey Association enjoyed another successful winter and spring season, registering several tournament wins and finishing up with an impressive 30-6-4 record on the year.   

The squad earned the title of CHL Post Season Champions in their final tournament, as they bounced back from a first round loss to reel off two straight wins before toppling the Junior Hurricanes White team in the championship game.  Other highlights from a fantastic season included the team registering a first place finish at the 2012 Congressional Tournament in Washington, D.C. and an impressive triumph in the CHL Skills Competition event.  The squad was second overall during the CHL regular season before making their run to the post-season title.
