Following a fantastic regular season that resulted in their being crowned conference champions, the East Wake Academy middle school baseball team outscored their opponents by an amazing 47-4 margin in their three playoff games, adding the TMSC postseason championship trophy to their already impressive 2012 season resume.

The Eagles began post season play with a 19-1 drubbing of Grace of Raleigh before rolling past Cary Academy in the semi finals by a 16-1 final tally. In the TMSC Championship game, East Wake faced off with the last opponent that had beaten them during their 12 win and four loss regular season, North Raleigh Christian. Unwavered by their late season defeat, the Eagles again flexed their muscle at the plate, knocking out 12 runs, while only allowing their adversary two in earning league championship honors.
