A Chinese Feast

Following a unit where they had learned about the culture and traditions of China, the entire fourth grade at West Clayton were rewarded for their hard work during the lessons with a “Chinese Feast.”

The final exercise in this unit found the kids finishing up a novel that took place in China Town and introduced them to many of the foods that they enjoyed at their “feast.” All of the classes laid out blankets behind the school and tried a wide variety of Chinese food, while enjoying the company of their friends and classmates as well.
