Taking Care of our Earth

In accordance with the upcoming “Earth Day” holiday on April 22, fifth graders at Cleveland Elementary have been learning the benefits of composting and how to keep the planet Earth clean.

With the help of several parents, the fifth graders used a composter to help “clean up,” during this lesson. The goal of teaching the youngsters the benefits of composting is to raise their awareness about the environment, not only for themselves, but also to any friends and family members that they can pass this knowledge on to.
