Reaching the Century Mark at Wakelon
By Chris Gosek
Taking part in the school wide celebration at Wakelon Elementary for the 100th day of school, Ms. Tab’s class spent last Friday doing fun filled activities related to the number 100.
Different 100-day activities were being done across the classroom, with one group of students working on a 100-piece puzzle and another group sorting through 100 “creatures” that a member of the class brought in. The youngsters also attempted to write and spell 100 different words and some even took to the hallways to interview staff members, asking them their age and continuing the interviews until the combined ages equaled 100.
