Chicken Soup with Rice

In accordance with “National Soup Month,” Ms. Eichelbarger’s class at East Clayton Elementary have been focusing many activities of late on the warm, comfort food, reading the book, “Chicken Soup with rice.”

The many different classroom exercises saw the kids making a graph that charted their favorite soups. Chicken soup and rice was the top choice in the room, with others naming tomato and chicken noodle as their favorites as well. Chicken soup art was another activity that was tackled during National Soup Month, and on last Friday the children enjoyed a nice bowl of the group’s top choice for a special treat at lunch.
