The Green Living Bus Tour made a stop at Wake Forest- Rolesville Middle earlier this week, raising the awareness of students at the school in regards to the different sustainable energy sources that can be used in a more earth-friendly manner than the more conventional sources commonly utilized.

      The Bus Tour features an RV that guide Evan Schoepke referred to as a demonstration project. “We want to share stories and inspire the students,” he noted. In addition to showing short films and webisodes visiting the alternate types of energy, the bus itself uses many different types. The RV uses LED lights and its electricity and hot water is solar powered. It also boasts a biofueled engine, bamboo construction on the interior, recycled fixture and harvested rain water to assist in helping the vehicle run.
