West View Designers
Creative Designers Recognized at West View
By Chris Gosek
A pumpkin design contest was recently held at West View Elementary, with students at each grade level offering submissions and the work voted most creative by those in attendance gaining top honors in the competition.
Because students were not able to carve the pumpkins, they used various art materials in the design of their pumpkins.  Attendees voted on their favorite pumpkins and the following students were named winners for their creations.  In the K-2 grade category, first place went to Robbie Albaugh, second place went to Edward Stewart III, and third place went to Morgan McAlister.  In the 3-5 grade category, first place went to Scarlett Olive, second place went to Kaylee Earle, and third place went to Jacob Chamblee.
