Diamonds Starting to Shine
By Chris Gosek
The Diamonds U9 girls’ soccer team of the Capital Area Soccer League’s (CASL) Raleigh Recreation Division has been seeing their hard work pay off of late as they have found their way into the win column in two of their past three games.

In the semi-finals the Tribe battled hard as they once again faced off with the Warriors, dropping a very close 6-3 decision, before they bounced back and took home the second runners up honors by outslugging the Carolina Diamond Hawks 10-7.
